Holiday Inn Express & Suites Airdrie-Calgary North by IHG

Jan 8/26. Clean, quiet, and comfortable room but the exceptionality comes from the incredible front desk staff. Super sweet and informative, very helpful and quick to resolve even the smallest issue. Was grateful for a complimentary room upgrade and late check out as a rewards member. Pet friendly with a reasonable $20 fee compared to other chains charging $50. Will be confident staying here again any time I'm in the Calgary / Airdrie area. 10/10

I used their tesla charger when i first bought my car. I didn’t know that it was actually for guests only. Thank you for not towing or ticketing me. I charged there a few times without ever being trolled. The least I can do is leave a good review

Great hotel for the family stay. Room is spacious, as well as bathroom. Lot of furniture is conveniently placed around the room and this doesn't make the room any smaller, only more efficient to use. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Hotel provides complimentary breakfast. Our family enjoyed this stay a lot.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Airdrie–Calgary North by IHG. The hotel was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. A special mention to Manager Khitij Mehta, whose attentive leadership and hospitality truly made a difference. His personal attention to guests’ needs and commitment to great service reflect the high standards of IHG. Overall, it was a fantastic experience comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, and great value. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Airdrie or Calgary North. I’ll definitely be returning!

Staff are all friendly, rooms are comfy. Like others have said it's older so no soundproof from halls or elephants above rooms but that's out of control of the hotel. I make sure I make as little noise as possible to be considerate to others but other guests definitely don't follow that consideration. Again not hotels fault, just way people are. Breakfast is ok if just some basic fuel is all ya want, not great but what you expect from an older property. Suggest asking for higher floor as on second floor dogs are allowed and yes you will hear them, again inconsiderate guests. Location, not much around for restaurants so expect to drive for dinner but Airdrie does have some decent eats for sure. Back to hotel, overall it's inexpensive and a place to catch some rest so is ok, just know it's not 5 star luxury lol. Like I said staff are great, always smiling and friendly.

I had a fantastic experience during my stay at the Holiday Inn Express Airdrie, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by the manager, Kshitij Mehta. From the moment I arrived, Kshitij went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. He was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay comfortable.

The overall stay was great, the hotel is clean and new, and the pool was well maintained and kids loved the pool. The breakfast was also great, lots of options. The only problem is the room we stayed in, the AC was super loud and noisy, so the four of us did not get any sleep during the night. We can hear the neighbours' talk and walk, there is like no privacy in our room and their room. I can hear them brushing their teeth!!! We had terrible sleeps but the amenities were good. Would suggest they change the AC unit, too loud; and the neighbouring sound proof need improvement.

I was very impressed with this hotel. Only thing I didn't like was the back of a free breakfast. I believe I saw there was one but, I guess I can't read! They have an Italian restaurant on site. We bought pastries at Walmart and ate in our room. It was very clean and well kept. The cleaners were very social able and accommodating.
